According to Mr. Vo Cao Phi, from the village news, at 10:45 on December 28, the Phu Yen province police organized an inspection of bus 51B-084.56 on National Highway 1, passing Phu Vang , Binh Kien.

When authorities came to check, there were eight Vietnamese and eight Chinese on board. These people got out of the car and drank water along the road. Initial test results showed that the Chinese brought papers, but not enough proof of legal entry into Vietnam.

While the authorities were checking, people discovered that a suspected Chinese had fled to the mountain in the area of ​​Phu Vang village, Binh Kien commune.

Immediately after that, the Phu Yen province police instructed professional units and local functional forces to conduct a search. However, so far no results have been obtained. Currently, the Phu Yen Provincial Police are verifying and investigating the relatives of the mentioned Chinese.

Speaking to PV in the evening of the same day, Dr. Nguyen Thi Mong Ngoc, Director of the Phu Yen Health Department, said authorities took 16 passenger cars, including eight Chinese, into central isolation. in the city of Tuy Hoa. The health department is sampling COVID-19 for all of these people.
