Nguyen Ho Nhu Anh (Can Tho) is concerned about the difficult issue of organizing the time for students to well balance their participation in the activities and learning of the Youth Union, Team and Association movement.
As Anh frankly: “If the movement is good, then study bad, study well, then the movement will be poor. You participate very little in both roles, I hope that the Ministry of Education has solutions so that students can participate well in both roles ”.
Nguyen Khanh Linh (6th grade, Quang Binh) raised a current issue: Central provinces are being badly affected by natural disasters, people’s lives are difficult, students cannot go to school.
I want the flood situation to be overcome, the conditions are created for the students to go to school, I hope that the Ministry of Education and Training will help with the facilities and learning tools so that the school can work again.
Nguyen Tu Linh (Son La) said that many students today are biased, biased towards the “main” subjects to take university exams such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English … but neglecting cultural issues such as History and Geography.
Linh said: “Many of you know all the irregular verbs in English, but cannot remember 63 provinces of Vietnam. Someone even asked me which district of Hanoi is Son La ?! ”.
Linh believes that there should be a solution for you to play while studying so that the Vietnamese culture doesn’t fade away.
The Kiet (Hue) said that the students at their school have a very heavy curriculum, and they have almost no time to develop life skills. There are good students who take extra classes at the same time in many math, literature, and English classes, leading to very good academic achievement but limited survival skills. Kiệt wants the Ministry of Education and Training to pay more attention to students so that they can study and have fun.
Hearing the stories of the students, Vice Minister Nguyen Huu Do shared that the Ministry of Education and Training is actively changing, in order to refine the curriculum towards the comprehensive development of students.
The vice minister hopes that Uncle Ho’s good sons will have typical accomplishments, recognizing their responsibility and duties to keep trying to climb.
The vice minister also wants students to be more active in learning, teachers are the ones who guide and help them in career guidance. Now they have a starting base, they still need efforts and efforts from the whole family, people and schools to have better achievements.
The 63 young delegates participating in the meeting are representatives from 63 provinces and cities. The AGOC has selected in each province to be one of the best interpreters to attend today the meeting with the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training and will be praised on the stage of the chapter. The national broadcast of Uncle Ho’s Good Grandchildren Ceremony will take place on the morning of October 25.
Of the 63 delegates, there are 37 female delegates, 26 male delegates, 54 children belong to the Kinh ethnic group, 9 belong to ethnic minorities; 25 students are the team leader; 2 students won awards in international exams: Gold Medal at the 2019 Hanoi International Sports Dance Championships, A Award at the American Mathematics Competition, organized by the American Mathematical Association. 22 students received awards at the ministerial level, Central Youth Union, Core Team Council, and national awards such as the online national math award exam; English national olympic competition online; Kim Dong Award, Vietnam English Talent Contest, National Young Chess Award, UPU Letter Writing Contest, Vietnam Young Talent Search Contest 2019, Creative Young People Badge …
With outstanding achievements, these 63 students were honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training.
