Initially, the investigating agency determined that the area where the incident occurred was a project to build a factory (under construction up to the first floor) of AV Healthcare Company (specialized in the manufacture of compresses, diapers, bottles, …), located at 8th Street, KCN Giang Điền.
This project was built by a contractor, Ha Hai Nga Co., Ltd. (based in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai).

Speaking to PV VietNamNet tonight, a representative from Ha Hai Nga Co., Ltd confirmed the information and said that among the victims, both company employees and outsiders.
Also according to the company representative, the collapsed wall was properly constructed according to the standard of 200mm walls, 400mm columns. In the construction process, workers are closely supervised.
At 9:30 p.m. the same day, the investigative agency was still working with representatives of Ha Hai Nga Co., Ltd. to clarify the case. When asked about the cause of the collapse of the wall, the company declined to respond, but said: At the time of the incident, a strong whirlwind appeared (at the construction site) (?)

Meanwhile, present at the scene, the chairman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee, Cao Tien Dung, said that the previous work accident was due to a violation of job security, possibly the job construction process has problems.
Dong Nai Police is currently coordinating with the Construction Department to review construction related documents for investigation.
