“A businessman told me that he would come to check the quality of the ambergris if the price was approved. The quantity shocked me,” said the 60-year-old fisherman.
Suwannasang still wants to wait for experts to confirm whether the blocks he found are ambergris or not.
“I want to know more about ambergris and I want the experts to reexamine them,” said the 60-year-old fisherman.
Mr. Suwannasang added that he will go to the local police to record his discovery in case someone tries to steal the “treasure.”
