The prime minister asked to evacuate the people
On the morning of November 14, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a telegram to direct the emergency response to Typhoon No. 13.
The telegram read: “Typhoon No. 13 is a very strong storm, and is expected to directly affect the coastal and inland areas of the northern and central central provinces from today until November 15.”
Prime Minister Phuc asked related ministries, branches and localities to halt meetings that are not really necessary to respond to the storms.
Mr. Phuc also requested a review of the boats still operating at sea, requests for safe haven, evacuation of people at sea, in aquaculture huts, on anchored boats.
