Patient 1482 Male, 32 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Ia Pa district, Gia Lai province.

This person from Malaysia to Vietnam on flight BL188, entered Can Tho airport on December 31, 2020. After that, he was quarantined in Bac Lieu province.

Test results from January 2, 2021 at the Bac Lieu Province Center for Disease Control found this person to be positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently the patient is isolated and treated at the Bac Lieu Provincial General Hospital.

Vietnam registered eight new cases of Covid-19

As of 6 p.m. on January 2, Vietnam had registered 1,482 people infected with Covid-19, of which 693 cases were caused by domestic infections.

– Develop and implement specific plans and scenarios against the epidemic; develop plans to assign samples, coordinate testing when an epidemic occurs in the area; continue to expand testing for suspected cases; organizing drills, trainings and training for the contingent of monitoring and testing personnel, and the rapid response team to epidemics.

– Coordinate closely with the management units of the isolated areas to monitor, monitor and test in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health; resolutely not allow the epidemic to spread in quarantine facilities and from quarantine facilities to the community.

At the same time, order the district and commune health units to coordinate closely with local authorities, the regular grassroots police to strictly monitor and supervise quarantine practitioners in areas of civil isolation.
