According to the BBC, Grand Prix Vietnam is not on the F1 racing list in the 2021 season.

On October 16, the organizers of the Vietnam GP announced the cancellation of the 2020 race in Hanoi due to the influence of Covid-19. Previously, F1 and its Vietnamese partners agreed to hold this event in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

However, according to BBCGP Vietnam will continue to miss audience appointments next year. In the 22-stage schedule for the 2021 season, the scheduled time to host the Vietnam GP is April 25, which is left blank.

F1 still wants to organize a record number of races next year: 23 stages, if it finds an alternative to the Vietnam GP. Probably Turkey, Imola (Italy) or Portimao (Portugal).

F1 is expected to announce the official schedule for the 2021 season on Tuesday, November 10. “We will not publish detailed comments before the schedule is announced. The racing schedule will also need to be approved by the World Sports Racing Council,” an F1 spokesperson said on November 9.

According to the BBCThe 2021 Brazilian GP will continue to be held at the Interlagos racetrack in Sao Paulo, instead of being transferred to Rio de Janeiro as F1 expected. Previously, the tournament management announced that they wanted to find new partners and held the event at the newly built racetrack in the Brazilian capital. However, this plan has not yet been implemented due to a malfunction of the construction process.
