The pregnant woman’s death was TTV (born 1984, Quang Be Commune, Chuong My District, Hanoi). 3 days ago, Ms. V. was hospitalized at Chuong My District General Hospital to wait for her to deliver in a completely healthy condition.
At 10:00 p.m. on September 30, Mrs. V. appeared with severe abdominal pain and weak health. Out of concern, the family asked Chuong My District General Hospital for a cesarean section, but the hospital made an appointment until October 1-10 for the surgery.
At approximately 4:00 on October 1, Mrs. V. died. At that point, the new surgeon removed the baby. However, both mother and child died.
According to relative V., the family has asked the hospital to clarify the cause of death of the pregnant woman and the baby, but the hospital has not yet provided any information. Currently, the new hospital admits mistakes and condolences to the family, and at the same time promises to take care of the family.
Mr. Dang Tran Chien – Director of Chuong My District General Hospital, said that Ms. V. was three times pregnant, 36 weeks pregnant, was hospitalized for 26 to 9 years, had a low history of placenta.
At 4:15 am on October 1, the woman was suddenly in pain, ruptured amniotic fluid, and passed out on the bed. The doctors were in an ambulance immediately but they couldn’t save him because things happened so fast.
In terms of experience, according to Mr. Chien, he currently leans towards the cause of amniotic fluid embolism that causes maternal and fetal death.
