Specifically, GE Vietnam Co., Ltd. proposed that Lang Son Province agree to allow study and prospecting of Chi Lang wind power plant project with estimated total capacity of 165 MW, estimated land use area of 41 hectares (Huu Kien, Quan Son, Lien Son commune – Chi Lang district and Huu Lan commune – Loc Binh district) and Ai Quoc wind power plant project with a total capacity of 253 MW, estimated area of land use of 63 hectares (Xuan Duong commune, Nam Quan, Dong Quan, Ai Quoc – Loc Binh district and Thai Binh commune – Dinh Lap district).

The estimated total investment capital of the Chi Lang wind power plant project is 280.5 million USD, equivalent to 6.451 billion VND and the total estimated investment of the Ai Quoc wind power plant project is of 430.1 million dollars. equivalent to 12.903 billion dong. Therefore, the total investment capital of the two projects amounts to almost VND 20 billion (more than $ 700 million).
