On the night of December 8, police in Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province, said Le Tan Thanh (29 years old, living in Binh Duong) was urgently arrested for beating people after a collision traffic.
Police also contacted the families of two students (specific identities were not announced) and took witness testimony to clarify the case.
“At first, Thanh admitted to hitting people after a traffic collision and said he had been drinking before the incident,” said a police officer.
The police not only clarified Thanh’s acts of beating people, but also clarified the signs of violation of traffic laws of this young man.
Thanh is known to have had a criminal record of intentionally causing injury and stealing property.
According to CCTV, one of the causes of the accident could be that Thanh took a sharp turn and lacked observation.
Before that, on the afternoon of December 7, in Bui Ngoc Thu Street, a section that passes through the Tuong Binh Hiep neighborhood, Thu Dau Mot city, Binh Duong province, there was a traffic accident between two motorcycles and a electric bicycle. The entire incident was recorded by village CCTV.
Le Tan Thanh was riding a motorcycle on Bui Ngoc Thu Street, followed by a woman. Suddenly, Thành turned his car to reverse, causing two schoolgirls going in the same direction to collide with the tail of Thanh’s car and fall into the street. Another woman riding a motorcycle in the same direction was unable to drive it, she continued to collide with two cars and then fell into the street.
It is worth mentioning that, while the two schoolgirls and the woman on the motorcycle fell, Thành not only did not ask, but immediately kicked the two students. Although discouraged by a guard and those present at the scene, Thành did not stop, but also drew the weapons (suspected of being a cone) on his body to threaten to hit people.
After that, Thành got in the car and drove off. People from the surrounding area helped the injured woman and the two schoolgirls on the side of the road.
The case continues to be investigated and clarified.
