On November 1, the CSDT Police Department of District 9 (Ho Chi Minh City) said that they had just arrested DVL (27 years old, Dong Nai Town, a high school teacher) to investigate rape behavior of a 12 year old girl.
According to the police investigation, DVL is a teacher who works at a secondary school in Di An Town (Binh Duong). Around July 2020, through social media, L. made friends and texted to speak with a schoolgirl named T. (12 years old, living in P. Long Binh, District 9).
During talk time, L. and T. have feelings for each other. L. rode a motorcycle through P. Long Binh and took T. to a hotel to have sex. During sex, L. used the phone to film. On October 26, L. posted a video of the relationship between the two on his phone.
On October 28, L. continued to drive T. to a hotel to have sex. After T. got home, his family found out about him. My family checked T.’s phone and discovered the above-mentioned video, so they went to the police to report it.
Through the investigation, the police determined that L. having sexual relations with a 12-year-old schoolgirl was a crime of rape, and the decision was made to make an urgent arrest. The District 9 police are completing the transfer of the case of Ms. L. who raped a 12-year-old girl to the Ho Chi Minh City Police for further investigation in accordance with their authority.
