The promotion of the VCS Summer Split 2020 has ended with unexpected results. VCS named two new names to attend Summer Split, OverPower Esports and Percent Esports after a relatively difficult promotion.
The idea of ”shift boss” or “goalkeeper” VCS will surely attend the summer of 2020 with extremely satisfactory results in the first round, but the long way to meet good horses, FTV Esports lost. He continued in the last 2 games to return to VCS and reserved those 2 for OPG and PER. What’s to come must also come, shortly thereafter, FTV Esports officially took leave of the professional LoL scene in Vietnam after a long time of poor results.
FTV Esports manager Tran Duc Vien officially announced its dissolution.
Titles like “Vuelta” and “keeper” VCS are not enough for FTV to try to take advantage of opportunities to stay in the professional arena. They still need a big boost, which is the achievement of sponsoring and maintaining the operation, but FTV was unable to do so because their overall achievements were too low. They have never even made it to the top 4 since joining the VCS and often “put” the ranking.
FTV underperforming
The breakup of FTV is a valuable lesson for eSports teams in Vietnam. Without serious competition, there will be no achievement, and when there is no achievement, it is impossible to maintain a team, dissolution will be inevitable.
