Ho Chi Minh City Tropical Disease Hospital is treating Covid-19’s heaviest patient, the 43-year-old British pilot. For more than a month, the patient has had to undergo ECMO, coagulopathy, coagulopathy, and “cytokine storm” syndrome, an overactive immune system. The Ministry of Health has considered a lung transplant option for the patient, but the situation remains critical and depends on the lungs of the appropriate donor, so it is not possible to carry out the transplant. The patient is expected to be transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for further treatment.
