Midfielder Nguyen Phi Hoang received a “rescue ticket” in the Vietnam U22 team to prepare for the U23 Asian qualifier and the 31st SEA Games.
After closing the list of 33 Vietnamese U22 players, coach Park Hang Seo suddenly added a relatively new name. That’s midfielder Nguyen Phi Hoang, just 17 this year in Da Nang.
Before that, Mr. Park personally attended the match between the SHB Danang club and the Thanh Hoa club in the fifth round of phase 2 of the 2020 LS V-League. After witnessing the convincing performance of the midfielder in 2003 Coach Park Hang Seo decided to give Phi Hoang a chance to give it a try at this Vietnam U22 reunion.

Nguyen Phi Hoang is known as a player who set a rare record in the V-League when coach Le Huynh Duc entered the list of the first SHB Da Nang team to play in the 2020 LS V-League. At that time, Phi Hoang was still not 17 years old yet.
