On the afternoon of November 18, the People’s Committee of the Tuy Phong district (Binh Thuan province) confirmed that an electric shock had occurred in the area, causing the casualties of 2 workers when they took the scaffolding next to the 22kV line .
Consequently, more than 9 o’clock on the same day, in a popular factory in Room 5, Lien Huong City, Tuy Phong District, there was a group of workers building the roof frame. During the construction of the scaffold, due to lack of observation, the workers let the scaffold touch the bare cable of the 22kV medium voltage line next to it.

As a result, Mr. Do Thanh Dung (aged 45, living in Room 5, Lien Huong City, Tuy Phong District) was killed on the spot. Another worker, seriously injured, was taken to the emergency room.
The victim was electrocuted at the scene.
Shortly afterwards, the police force, the Tuy Phong District People’s Prosecutor’s Office was present to inspect the place and clarify the cause of the incident.
