The Transit Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security said the passenger car rollover occurred on Highway 6, the stretch that passes through Phu Cuong Commune, Tan Lac District, Hoa Binh at 1 am, 22- 11, causing 12 deaths.
At that time, Mr. Nguyen Duc Phung Anh (46 years old, a resident of Hung Ha, Thai Binh) was driving a 38-seater passenger car with 35 passengers on Highway 6 in the direction of Son La to Hanoi.
Upon reaching the White Stone curve (Km118 + 494), the car suddenly collided with the corrugated iron railing system on the left side of the road, then crashed into the mouth of the drainage gutter on the right side of the road and then bowed.
The accident resulted in the deaths of Mr. Luong Van Mai (52 years old, a resident of Moc Chau, Son La) and Mr. Hoang Van Phong (29 years old, living in Song Ma district, Son La). The other 10 injured passengers were taken to the emergency room.
At the scene, the passenger car was badly damaged, many items and belongings of the passengers were strewn on the road.
Upon receiving the news, the Tan Lac district authorities were present at the scene of the traffic diversion.
On the morning of the same day, the direction of the Ministry of Public Security instructed the Traffic Police Department to coordinate with the Hoa Binh Provincial Police to investigate the speed, technical safety of the vehicle, the road … to clarify the cause of the accident.
