The president of the United States ordered the advisers to find someone to serve as a special counsel to investigate the allegations of voter fraud and Biden’s son.

WSJ White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said the president wanted to appoint a special counsel to investigate voter fraud and wanted to act quickly, citing some sources familiar with the 12/12 news.

Senior White House officials also discussed naming a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden, after being disappointed by Attorney General William Barr.

US President Donald Trump and Republicans have urged Attorney General William Barr to investigate Hunter Biden for months, sources familiar with the matter said Tuesday. However, before Election Day, despite requests from some congressmen, Barr declined to say whether the department was investigating Hunter or not.

Hunter Biden, the son of President-elect Joe Biden, said on December 9 that the US Attorney’s Office in the state of Delaware had announced that it was investigating his tax affairs.

During investigations in Delaware and Manhattan, investigators tried not to reveal information before the November presidential election. Minister Barr is also believed to have learned of the investigations earlier in the year, but hid it for fear of affecting the election results.

The White House, a spokesman for Barr, and Biden’s handover group declined to comment.

Trump has recently repeatedly expressed his frustration with Barr that his attempt to reverse the election results has repeatedly failed. On December 11, the Supreme Court denied the Texas Attorney General’s request to nullify 20 million votes in four battlefield states. It is the latest in a series of dozens of lawsuits filed in federal and state courts by the Trump campaign.

Barr’s statement that the Justice Department found no evidence of widespread voter fraud could have angered Trump. The President of the United States has publicly accused the Attorney General of being involved in electoral fraud. During the 12/11 meeting, the US president planned to fire Barr, but it is unclear whether there is a decision or not.

Aides and allies have for months urged Trump not to fire Barr. The Justice Ministry announced that it would continue to operate unless it is fired. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Justice, special prosecutors must be appointed by the minister.

The special prosecutor is authorized to operate independently and is not subject to the daily supervision of ministry officials. The special prosecutor is only removed by the minister for misconduct or conflict of interest.
