During the 2016 campaign, Trump also routinely called for the imprisonment of Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for using her personal email to work while she was secretary of state. However, this was his first call to do the same with former Vice President Biden.
In 2016, the FBI did not propose to prosecute Clinton because she sent a small amount of confidential email through a private server at her home in New York.
President Trump’s comments come after the New York Post earlier this week revealed emails from Hunter Biden, the son of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, suggesting he used to take advantage of special access. he parted ways with his father to introduce him, then vice president, to an executive from a Ukrainian gas company under surveillance at the time.
However, Biden’s election campaign denied information from the New York Post, confirmed in the recorded work schedule, he has never met the aforementioned Ukrainian businessman.
