On November 17, the Elections Commission in Wayne, Michigan’s largest county on the state “battlefield,” failed to recognize the election results in favor of Mr. Biden. President Trump initially “celebrated” prior to this incident. Yet Trump’s joy is “short and short.”

Just hours after having trouble recognizing the election results, Wayne County reversed the decision, officially admitting that the local winner was Mr. Biden.

The decision was made before the deadline, November 17 (local time), when Wayne County had to acknowledge the results of the popular vote recount.

On the night of November 17, US time, two Republicans among the four members of the Wayne County Elections Commission objected to the results of the vote count. This action puts Wayne County at risk of not being able to certify election results and state government intervention.

However, just 2 hours later, the two Republicans mentioned above suddenly accepted the results of the Wayne County vote count. Consequently, Mr. Biden shipped directly to this location.

Across the state of Michigan, Biden leads 145,000 popular votes over Trump. This is an important victory for Mr. Biden to win the presidency of the United States. Official results will be confirmed on November 23.

The sudden change in Wayne County made Trump “overjoyed.”

“Rubbing. Michigan did not recognize the election results. This is beautiful courage. The pride of America,” Trump posted on Twitter when he learned that Michigan could not give official results of the vote count.

The Trump campaign suggested that Wayne County could provide an opportunity to reverse the results of the vote count in the state of Michigan. However, this hope was quickly extinguished.

Two Republican MPs, Monica Palmer and William Hartmann, who initially refused to acknowledge Wayne County’s vote count, were heavily criticized by Democrats.

As a general rule, the Michigan State Board of Elections will have to intervene within 10 days if any locality does not certify the results of the vote count on time.
