Ton Hoa Sen Company workshop fire

Binh duongFire and smoke tens of meters high covered Ton Hoa Sen Company’s 4,000 m2 factory in Song Than 2 Industrial Park, causing many people to panic.

At 10:30 am on March 6, a fire suddenly broke out on the corrugated iron company’s steel production line, on Thong Nhat Avenue, Di An Ward. More than a dozen workers chanted, using a mini fire extinguisher, but failed.

The fire broke out violently, black smoke spread over many roads in the industrial park. “There were many explosions heard in the fire. The smell of chemicals was burning,” said Quach, a worker at the industrial park.

About a dozen fire trucks and more than 50 police officers were immediately present. The firefighter approached through multiple noses, spraying water to prevent the fire from spreading. Another group of soldiers in anti-poison masks pushed the tornado inside to put out the fire.

More than 30 minutes after the fire was under control. However, many machines, properties and some 1,000 square meters of factories caught fire.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
