7 new cases (patient 2476 – 2482), of which 5 cases were registered nationally in Hai Duong and 2 cases were isolated immediately after entry into Kien Giang.
Specifically:
– Hai Duong Province recorded 5 cases, of which:
+ 1 case in Chi Linh City is F1 of patient 1632; was concentrated in isolation since January 28 (case 2478), but tested positive for COVID-19 on March 3 after 8 tests.
+ 3 cases in Kim Thanh district (case 2479 – 2481): they are all F1, they have been concentrated in isolation since February 28.
Currently, the 4 patients are isolated and treated at Field Hospital 3 – Campus 2 of the University of Sao Do.
+ 1 case in Hai Duong city is F1 of patient 2210; it has been concentrated in isolation since February 14 (case 2482). Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at Field 2 Hospital – Hai Duong Medical Technical University Hospital.
– Two cases were isolated immediately after their entry into Kien Giang province:
+ Patient 2476: female, 23 years old, Vietnamese citizen, domicile in Ward 12, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City.
+ Patient 2477: female, 23 years old, Vietnamese citizen, domicile in Pavilion 6, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City.
Patients 2476-2477 from abroad entered the Ha Tien international border gate on February 28 and were quarantined immediately after entering Kien Giang province. The test results were positive 2-3 times a day for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patients are in isolation and treated at the Ha Tien City Medical Center, Kien Giang Province.
With 7 new patients, as of March 3, the total number of patients registered in Vietnam was 2,482 people, of which 1,898 were cured and discharged from the hospital.
On day 3-3, 2 patients were registered in quarantine several days ago (patients 2478 and 2482, of which 1 patient, F1, was isolated more than 1 month ago and 1 was isolated 17 days ago).
These are also 2 cases of suspected quarantine infection. In Hai Duong, in recent days, there have been a number of cases that have been isolated for many days, experts suggest careful epidemiological investigation into the source of transmission.
