As noted, the trench where Ms. Mung was in distress is about 1m deep, about 0.5m wide and has no lid. Residents at the scene said the accident occurred after heavy rain, water flooded the road surface, flowing rapidly.
Before the accident happened, people also quickly saved a girl of about 8 years old on a bicycle that had fallen into this ditch. Fortunately, the baby was only slightly injured.
