Vietnam’s Minister of National Defense, General Ngo Xuan Lich, was the chairman of the General Political Department of the Vietnamese Armed Forces.
The Congress of the Vietnam Army Party Committee ended on September 30, selecting delegates to attend the XIII National Congress of the Communist Party.
Specifically, Congress selected 43 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates and 18 representatives to automatically participate in the Military Party Committee delegation to the XIII Congress.
These will be the candidates that may be elected to the Central Committee of the XIII Party.
At the XII Congress of 2016, the Army Corps had 22 generals elected to the Central Executive Committee.
The Ministry of Defense of Vietnam continues to affirm “absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, the Party and the people, ready to sacrifice for national independence and socialism”, as the content of the congressional letter.
The Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam in January 2016 elected 200 core members (including 180 official members and 20 alternate members).
In which, the Ministry of Public Security has 5 people elected to the Central Committee of the XII Party.
The army has 22 members elected to the Central Committee of the 12th Party, including:
