On the night of September 14, the Bac Giang Province Police Traffic Police Department said that in the area it had just happened that a mobile police soldier was stabbed to death by a van driver while was on duty.
Consequently, around 5:00 p.m. on September 14, on the Hanoi – Bac Giang Highway, the section passing through Yen Dung District, Bac Giang Province, the Economic Crime Prevention Police Department, the Bac Giang Province police is there and the Bac Giang Province Police Traffic Police Department to perform patrol and control duties.
Here, functional forces coordinated to stop and inspect a vehicle showing signs of transporting prohibited goods on the Hanoi – Bac Giang highway.
However, the driver did not obey and the accelerator struck a mobile police soldier on duty and he ran away. The consequences caused a mobile police soldier to die on the spot.
According to the police, the dead soldier was NVM (23 years old, resident of Luc Nam district). Private M. is a police soldier on duty and works in the Mobile Police Department of the Provincial Police.
As soon as the incident occurred, the functional forces organized an examination of the scene, investigating and clarifying.
Police arrested a suspect in the car that caused the incident and took him to headquarters to take testimony.
The case is currently being investigated and handled by the police in accordance with regulations.
