Out of fear, on April 6, Ms. L. transferred 2 million dong to Quan for a ceremony.
Later, Quan told Ms. L. that the ceremony was unsuccessful, so she asked the victim to continue transferring money.
Due to the trust, Ms. L. repeatedly transferred money to the army with a total amount of almost 70 million dong. Without stopping, Quan also threatened the victim to have sex with a shaman like him in order to remove the evil spirits.
Due to believing in people and fear of death, Mrs. L. reluctantly had sex with Quan twice.
On the 7th and 5th, Quan continued to ask for VND 15 million and had sex to “celebrate”, so the victim reported the incident to the police.
