On March 30, the National Assembly approved the removal of the President of the National Assembly and President of the National Electoral Council of Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
After submitting to the National Assembly to remove the President of the National Assembly or the President of the National Electoral Council in the morning, in the afternoon, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will report to the National Assembly on the results of the discussion at the delegation and explain and absorb the opinion of the deputies of the National Assembly.
After establishing the Vote Counting Committee (the Vote Counting Committee continues to work on the next vote on personnel decisions), the National Assembly removes the President of the National Assembly, the President of the National Council of Elections by vote.
After announcing the results of the vote count, the National Assembly voted to pass a Resolution approving the removal of the President of the National Assembly, the President of the National Electoral Council of Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan at a rate of 89.38 . / 449 participants voted in favor, 15 delegates disagreed, 5 delegates did not vote).
The resolution enters into force when it elects the President of the National Assembly or the new President of the National Electoral Council.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan was born on 12/4/1954, in Chau Hoa Commune, Giong Trom District, Ben Tre Province. He is a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party period IX, X, XI, XII; Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Session XI. Politburo Member, mandate XI, XII. Deputies of the National Assembly period XII, XIII.
In 2016, the National Assembly elected Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan as President of the National Assembly and President of the National Electoral Council. She is the first female president in the history of the National Assembly of Vietnam and also the first female leader in key positions, leading the Party and the State. He was also the first person to take the oath rule when he took office.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan was sworn in as Speaker of the National Assembly at the First Session of the XIV National Assembly.
On the afternoon of March 29, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, received the National Assembly Activities Medal for her contributions to the activities of the National Assembly in the last term.
Also on March 30, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly presented a list of nominations for the National Assembly to elect the President of the National Assembly and the President of the National Electoral Council. The delegates then discussed with the delegation the proposed staff to elect the President of the National Assembly, the President of the National Council of Elections.
