Currently, the Investigative Police Department of the Ministry of Public Security has sent a letter requesting the family to contact, encouraging the defendant Ho Thi Kim Thoa to return to the country to present and sincerely denounce the crime to enjoy the indulgence of the law. the law.
The Investigative Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security also contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and related authorities to further propose coordinating the arrest and extradition of Ho Thi Kim Thoa for handling in accordance with the law.
However, as of yesterday (December 8), according to information on the Interpol website, more than 62,000 red search warrants issued by Interpol are in force, of which 7,430 are public. 62 of them have Vietnamese nationality and do not have the name of Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoa.
According to Interpol, the red notice is a global search convention that is issued to people who are wanted for prosecution or arrest.
The red search warrant is formally issued by the Interpol Secretary General at the request of member states or an international court. Interpol does not have the power to make a desired decision and the desired red order must comply with the letter and Interpol rules.
However, the red search warrant is not an international arrest warrant. Therefore, the wanted subjects are still considered innocent until proven guilty.
