“Currently, the group of kidnappers has 1 dead, 2 wounded are hospitalized, 2 arrested, 1 suspect has fled. The fugitive is the biological sister of Mrs. Vo Thi Thuy Hang (the abducted person – reporter)” – added Colonel Mong .
Currently, suspect Tran Ngoai Giao (30 years old, resident of Long An Commune, Long Ho District, husband of Ms. Hang) and 4 objects from the kidnapping group are being detained and temporarily detained for investigation.
According to the initial investigation, at noon on November 15, a group of 6 people traveling in a 7-seater car, number 72A-215.22, stopped in front of the Tam Giao coffee shop located on Highway 53, Long An Commune, Long Ho district. After that, some subjects entered to immobilize and arrest the owner Vo Thi Thuy Hang (29 years old) who had the intention of taking the car to escape.
At the time, Ms. Hang’s husband, Giao, was collecting coconuts at the back of the garden and heard his wife screaming, so they came to the rescue.
When resisted by the target group spraying tear gas in the face, Mr. Giao stabbed the enemy with a sharp iron bar, causing NMT (30 years old, living in Ba Ria – Vung Tau) to be killed on the spot. and another person emergency hospitalization.
The entire incident was recorded by the security camera in the Tam Giao cafeteria.
According to Colonel Mong, after committing the crime, Mr. Giao went to the police station to confess. In particular, the group of people traveling in the car escaped and was pursued and arrested by the commune police, while Ms. Hang’s younger sister, who joined the group of kidnappers, escaped.
At the scene, the police station seized many elements of the kidnapping group such as pepper spray, three-track sticks, wooden sticks …
“According to initial testimony, because the Hang family did not want their children to live with Mr. Giao, they hired ‘social people’ to take them to Ba Ria – Vung Tau. However, this is only initial testimony and Sister Hang has escaped, so further investigation and verification is necessary, ”Colonel Mong said.
