The Hue Coastal Information Station is connected to the Rao Trang 4 factory with the frequency 8,149 KHz. Information about the factory says that currently the workers at the Rao Trang 4 hydroelectric plant are safe, but isolated, the food is only enough for 1 day.

While, 40 workers from Rao Trang 3 factory (including 3 Indian experts) crossed the forest road to Rao Trang 4 factory, which was also safe.

The road to the two hydroelectric plants above was seriously damaged, to reach the two hydroelectric plants it is necessary to go by water, but the water flows very fast. An isolated Lin B2 hydroelectric plant has no information.

An official from the A Lin B1 hydroelectric plant came to the A Luoi district area by the Ho Chi Minh highway and confirmed that all the workers at the A Lin B1 factory were safe.

Currently, Thua Thien Hue Province is sending a relief team to transport food and drink from the Huong Dien hydroelectric lake to the Rao Trang 4 factory to supply the workers here.

On the night of October 13, more buses brought vehicles and fuel to the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power area for construction overnight to open the way to the landslide area.

A total of 4 shovels and 1 bulldozer were brought in to clear the scene. Many oil drums are also loaded onto trucks to serve construction machinery overnight.

During this day, more forces were launched in the search. In which, a group of about 20 officers and soldiers from the Thua Thien Hue Province Military Command equipped with hammocks, parachutes and food already crossed the Cat stream and marched early in the direction of the hydroelectric plant.

Next, Mr. Nguyen Dai Vui – Director of the Planning and Investment Department of Thua Thien Hue Province (former secretary, Chairman of the Phong Dien District People’s Committee), led a group of 3 rangers and 2 doctors from Hue Central Hospital to cross Cat Creek to find a shortcut to the landslide area.

In addition, other forces from the military and transportation sectors were also mobilized, and the area near the site was raining slowly, opening opportunities to accelerate the search team.
