On the night of October 13, more buses brought vehicles and fuel to the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power area for construction overnight to open the way to the landslide area.
A total of 4 shovels and 1 bulldozer were brought in to clear the scene. Many oil drums are also loaded onto trucks to serve construction machinery overnight.
During this day, more forces were launched in the search. In which, a group of about 20 officers and soldiers from the Thua Thien Hue Province Military Command equipped with hammocks, parachutes and food already crossed the Cat stream and marched early in the direction of the hydroelectric plant.
Next, Mr. Nguyen Dai Vui – Director of the Planning and Investment Department of Thua Thien Hue Province (former secretary, Chairman of the Phong Dien District People’s Committee), led a group of 3 rangers and 2 doctors from Hue Central Hospital to cross Cat Creek to find a shortcut to the landslide area.
In addition, other forces from the military and transportation sectors were also mobilized, and the area near the site was raining slowly, opening opportunities to accelerate the search team.
The scene from station 67 was buried
A group of 4 forest rangers from Song Bo Protective Forest arrived at Forest Protection Station 67 just returned.
