After 4 hours, the baby progressed worse, blood pressure dropped, pulse was difficult to take. On August 13, the baby was allowed to stop breathing oxygen.
Dr. Giang added that in addition to the respiratory problems, the baby also had a very serious infection. Therefore, in parallel to maintaining mechanical ventilation, clinicians must use antibiotics continuously for 5 weeks to improve this condition.

Fortunately, however, the group of volunteers quickly discovered him and took him to the hospital, so the baby was saved.
With regard to possible sequelae, Dr. Giang said, premature babies can have sequelae to the eyes, which can cause blindness and vision loss. However, this baby was examined and identified for BV, showing no signs of damage.
Currently, the baby’s health has stabilized. The baby can breathe, be awake, pink, suck and weigh 2.6 kg. The hospital is in the process of taking the baby to the city’s social protection center.
