After hot photos and clips of Ms N. surfaced, Thien turned to intimidate her, threatening to give her money, otherwise it would spread on social media. Thien knew that Ms N. was the daughter-in-law of a famous Youtuber, so she threatened many times. Out of fear, Ms. N. transferred money to Thien three times in the amount of VND 9 million.
After spending all the money, Thien continued to force her to give the money. Ms. N. pretended to agree and flew from Bac Giang province to Ho Chi Minh City to send a request for help and report Thien.
On the afternoon of September 28, Ms. N. made an appointment to meet with Thien at a coffee shop on Nguyen Xien Street, Long Thanh My Ward, District 9 to discuss the transactions. Here Thien asked Ms N. to have sex to remove the hot clips and images.
At this time, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Criminal Police Department (PC02) reconnaissance and District 9 Police stormed Thien. Search, the police confiscated 1 phone from Thien.
At the police station, Thien claimed that due to lack of money, the intention to violate the property of Ms. N. Because Thien committed a crime in the District 9 area and the amount was allocated below 500 million VND, the Ho Chi Minh City Police turned over the District 9 Police to investigate and handle according to their competence.
