Specifically, according to a male sender named L. Nhan on social media, yesterday September 26 through a delivery app, he received to transport 2 cakes from K Bakery on Huynh Van Banh Street to the district. Hoc Mon (Ho Chi Minh City), has advanced the value of 790k of orders on behalf of customers. After a journey of more than 12 km and dozens of minutes of travel, the cake upon reaching Hoc Mon melted the layer of cream cheese, causing the shape to “deform”, so the customer refused to accept the cake.
This sender contacted the bakery to fix it when they suddenly informed him that the store would not pick up the cake, nor would it return the 790k amount advanced by the sender and told the sender to … bring the cake and eat .
“I accepted the request in the pastry app, I delivered 1 whipped cream cake and 1 cream cheese cake from Phu Nhuan to Hoc Mon, I gave the store 790 thousand money for 2 cakes. Whoever ran to the place, the cheesecake. The flow didn’t look like the picture, so the customer refused to accept it. I called the store again and the store said ‘Now we can’t sell it to anyone so you can take it home and eat it’ “ – writes the male charger.

The male submitter also shared, because the order value for him was not small, so he had to post the incident on social media to ask people to buy 2 cakes. After this post, K bakery received many negative reactions from the online community, then contacted him to say that he would support him with the amount of 300k. However, the male sender did not accept this amount.
In addition, the male sender also reported the incident to the delivery application switchboard, but he was told that he could not support it and asked him to take care of the bakery himself. The next day, his account on the app was locked.
The male sender wrote on Facebook: “I called the applications switchboard but the operator reported that he solved the shop by himself, not the responsibility of the operator.
I don’t know what to do because the 790k for me is not a small quantity so I posted it to the trucking association to hope someone would buy it again. So people have to go to the store page to comment, the store knows they have to call back to negotiate the 300k support. But suddenly I ran without pay and ended up losing 490k more, 2 days of plow and plow, but there are few so I disagree. The one who had the store called the switchboard and then the switchboard blocked my account. “

Share more with us, male submitter said that as of today, September 27, K Bakery has not yet contacted him to resolve the matter. Your account on the delivery app is still locked for “disclosing customer information.”
Said: “The bakery told me they would get a 300k cheesecake, but they didn’t admit that it was their fault they made the cake melt, which made me bear all the consequences. The behavior of the store was a shame.
And my account is still blocked, said the switchboard because it revealed customer information, the switchboard did not admit it but asked the two parties to negotiate.
The online community harshly criticized, the bakery confirmed the incident
Immediately after it was posted, the male submitter’s post received a lot of interest from the online community. Most believe K bakery is really irresponsible, melted cheese cannot be due to subjective fault of the sender, it is unacceptable to ask the sender to lose a large amount of money.
Some comments from the online community:
– “The bakery must know the characteristics of the cheese that will melt easily when traveling long distances, without paying attention to the sender and customers and then have the sender load it.”
– “The bakery is weird, the sender can’t tell if the cake is flowing or not to say they pay that money. It should be better to withdraw it and apologize to the customer.”
The online community reacted fiercely on the bakery’s Instagram page (screenshot)
Also, some people think that it is impossible to evaluate when accessing one-way information. The broken cake can be caused by the baker’s inattention to the sender, possibly because the sender does not guarantee the proper delivery process. Should wait for both sides to speak is better!
Regarding this incident, we have contacted K bakery for clarification. Bakery staff confirmed that the above incident occurred at the store, but were unable to provide further information due to the absence of the manager. Currently, K bakery has blocked the Facebook page and is only active on Instagram.
Currently, the above incident is still widely shared on social media.
