After being robbed, T. hid a gun in an area of eucalyptus forest near Tac village, Dak Ko Ning commune.
Recalling conflicts with his sister, around 18 pm on December 19, T. carried the gun to his sister’s cabin on the bank of Oh Creek, with the aim of shooting her in revenge. When he got to about 15 meters from the hut, he saw that Beth’s family was drinking in the hut, T. took aim at the camp and ran away with a gun.
The shots wounded Ms. Dinh Thi Bel and Mr. DM (her husband from Bethlehem) with dozens of cuts to the body. In particular, Dinh Liet (1 month old) – Bethlehem was holding it in her hand – had 2 shots to the head and eye area. The three were then taken to the emergency hospital.
Ms. Dinh Thi Bel and her grandchildren Dinh Liet are being treated at the hospital.
T. hid his gun and hid from the locality. In the process of escape, on December 23, T. stole a motorcycle on the side of the road as a means of transportation. In the early morning of December 25, T. was arrested by the police and the people. The police station seized the weapon to provoke the crime.
The Kong Chro District Police are detaining Dinh T. to investigate and clarify the case.
