On the night of November 6, information from the Long An Provincial Police said that the Police Department investigating the crime of social order combined with the Duc Hoa District Police had just found the body of Ms. Nguyen Thi Khuon , 79, after 9 days. This old woman was reported missing by her family.
Before that, from noon the same day, the police force focused on blocking the house of Ms. Huynh Thi Diep (39 years old) in An Hoa Village, An Ninh Tay Commune, Duc Hoa District, Province of Long An to organize a search. This house is only about 100 meters from Mrs. Mold’s house.
Ms. Diep is the prime suspect in Ms. Mold’s disappearance. According to the family report, Ms. Khuong loaned money to many people, and on the afternoon of October 28, Ms. Khuong said she would be interested but did not return. Upon leaving the house, Ms. Mold brought some valuable jewelry to her body.
Through investigation, the police discovered that Ms. Diep was involved in a debt to Ms. Mold. From many sources, the investigating agency determined that there is a possibility that Ms Mold was murdered.
At the end of this afternoon, the police discovered that Ms. Khuong’s body was wrapped in a plastic bag and put it in the bathroom with the door behind Ms. Diep closed.
