On the morning of September 3, during a meeting with the people, explaining the problem of the lost ash urns, the venerable Thich Thien Chieu, abbot of Ky Quang 2 pagoda, explained the reason for taking pictures of the ashes. of the deceased. The venerable Thich Thien Chieu said that he would coordinate with authorities to determine the DNA of the remains of relatives.
“It is expected that at the beginning of the eighth lunar month, the pagoda will have an announcement on the determination of the DNA of the remains. If a relative of the remains has other wishes, send a request, the pagoda will be resolved” -Hoich Thien Chieu information.
Before that, on September 1, on the occasion of the Vu Lan Hospitality Festival, many people went to Ky Quang 2 Pagoda (District 17, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City) to burn incense to commemorate relatives deceased. Later, some people discovered that many urns for the ashes were lost and left intact in the ashes.
