Heavy rains that lasted from last night until the morning of September 18 have caused many central roads in Da Nang to be produced locally. Many deeply flooded sections make vehicles turn around, unable to drive or climb on sidewalks, falling into a dead state like some sections in Nguyen Van Linh, Ong Ich Khiem, Ham Nghi.
Many houses, shops, and transaction offices in this area have used sandbags and beige wooden boards in front of the door, preventing water from flowing into the house when cars pass.
Tran Van Khai, owner of a department store on Nguyen Van Linh Street, said that at 3 a.m. this morning, the rain was heavy, so the water was at its highest point. Mr. Khai has to stay up all night and use everything in front of the store to prevent the water from flooding.

On Ham Nghi Street, the regional police force and the self-defense militia stopped and set up a stop for people and vehicles to enter the road on the shore of Lake Ham Nghi due to overflowing water.
By 10:00 on September 18, the rain had subsided in Da Nang and the floodwaters on the roads gradually receded.

Some large trees with traffic lights, electric poles … broke and fell into the street.
