The remaining 4 projects are invested from the budget of the city of Hanoi. In which, there are 3 traffic projects to improve and expand National Highway 21B from Van Dinh City to Provincial Highway 424, belonging to Ung Hoa District (VND 470 billion); to improve and expand National Highway 21B from Thach Bich Bridge to Provincial Highway 427 intersection and the section at the Vac intersection to the end of Thanh Oai District (VND 320 billion); to build a route connecting Do Nhuan Street with Cao Dinh Water Plant and Xuan Dinh Market, Bac Tu Liem District (VND 385 billion).
The latest project consists of building the technical infrastructure of the resettlement area in Ninh Liet Village, Village 9, Hong Ky Commune (Soc Son District) to address the migration from environmentally affected areas of the Soc Waste Treatment Complex They are within a radius of 500 m from the fence of the complex (VND 110 billion).
The president of the People’s Council of the City, Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, evaluated that all the projects have important implications for the economic development and tourism of the capital, reducing traffic congestion, solving the urgent problems of people, guaranteeing safety and people’s health.
The head of the Economic and Budgetary Committee (Hanoi People’s Council), Ho Van Nga, suggested that because the projects traverse many residential areas, the city should implement investment preparation, site cleanup well for the project to take place. implement as scheduled.
Hoan Kiem Lake is over 115,000 m2 wide, surrounded by stone embankments, surrounded by a system of flower and tree gardens. Ho Guom Historic and Scenic Area was recognized as a Special National Monument in 2013, including: Lake, Turtle Tower, Ngoc Son Temple, and Le King Monument.
For the past 10 years, the city has repeatedly beautified the area around the lake, but everyone has to stop due to conflicting views on the cobblestones. In 2020, after years of consultation and preparation, the city has paved the stone and embankment of the lake.
