After arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. K. took a motorcycle taxi to the bronze foundry factory in Long Buu neighborhood (Long Binh District, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City). Here, he applied for a job in a bronze foundry factory and rested at a boarding house in the Long Buu neighborhood. From December 25 to 26, Mr. K. just went to work at the factory and rested again in the departure lounge.
On December 27, he came home from work, walked to Nguyen Van Tang Street (District 9) to take a photo of his identity card, but could not find a photocopier, so he returned to the inn. The process continues, he wears a mask and does not come into contact with anyone. On December 28, he continued working at the copper smelter until the police arrived. The Ho Chi Minh City health sector took samples to test COVID-19 for Mr. K. and the result was positive. On December 29, all the factories and motels where Mr. K. worked and stayed were temporarily blocked. The medical force has dispatched 16 people involved, including factory owners, workers and inn owners. Initially, all people who were exposed to Mr. K. tested negative for SARS-CoV-2.

He also went to VPBank at 9A Street, Trung Son KDC and the MobiFone branch at 313 An Duong Vuong (District 3, District 5). BN1451 with a friend went to Oc 49k near Trung Son roundabout for lunch, then back to the hotel. He went to Abu Goat Stew Shop (32/10 Bong Sao, Hall 5, District 8) with 4 friends, then went to Su Su Karaoke Bar in District 8.
On December 27, the patient arrived at his home on the fourth floor, room 423, block B, Su Van Hanh apartment. Staff from the medical station came to the patient’s home to collect a sample and transfer the patient to the patient’s isolation concentration. On the night of the same day, the patient tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 and was transferred to the Cu Chi Field Hospital at 10:00 p.m. on December 27.

BN1453 (male, 23, in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City) illegally entered Myanmar on December 24 with BN1440, BN1451, BN1452, then returned to Ho Chi Minh City. Thus, among 6 people who entered illegally in the early morning of December 24 (including Mr. K.), 4 people tested positive for SARS-COV-2.
