On the afternoon of September 3, a leader of the Popular Committee of Dak R’moan Commune, Gia Nghia City, Dak Nong Province, said that the police force had just shot down a mad buffalo because it constantly attacked the people in the commune.
The mad buffalo got shot down
Consequently, on the afternoon of September 2, in Tan Hiep village, Dak R’Moan commune, a buffalo (owner unknown) appeared wandering around and attacking many people. In which, on September 17, Mr. Lam Van Tuan (who lives in Tan Hiep village) was pierced by this buffalo on his left thigh.
Upon discovering the incident, the villagers arrested the buffalo, but this buffalo escaped to the people’s coffee plantation.

On the morning of September 3, while working in the fields, Ms. Vu Thi Mo (who lives in Tan An village, Dak R’Moan commune) was suddenly stabbed by a buffalo. Until about 8 a.m. on the same day, people were able to scare off the buffalo and take the victim to the emergency room in a state of blood loss, unconsciousness.
According to locals, the crazy buffalo attacked many people, including at least 5 wounded. Currently, 2 people with the most severe cases are receiving treatment at Dak Nong Provincial General Hospital.
