On September 28, the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Court tried the “murder” case against the defendant Nguyen Thi Nga (47 years old) and his son Pham Phi Truong (19 years old, living in Ha Phu Hamlet, commune of Quoc Oai, Da Teh District, Lam Dong Province).
Ms. Nga and her son committed acts of shooting and killing her husband, Father Pham Van Dung (56 years old) on April 4, which was repeatedly reported by the Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper.
According to the ruling, while living together, the couple Pham Van Dung and Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga often had conflicts and fights. From time to time, Mr. Dung would drink and chase Ms. Nga and curse her youngest son, Pham Phi Truong.

In late March 2020, while in Tay Ninh, Mr. Dung called to say that he was going home to celebrate an anniversary and asked Ms. Nga to prepare to withdraw her savings from the bank.
In fear of being caught by Mr. Dung to withdraw the entire amount of 160 million VND she previously had for her son and personal expenses, Ms. Nga argued with Truong to buy a gun to shoot Mr. Dung.
Pham Phi Truong’s son and his mother used a gun to kill his father.
Implementing that intention should dawn on 4-4, while Mr. Dung slept at home, two subjects Pham Phi Truong and Nguyen Thi Nga used homemade weapons to shoot in the left back, causing the death of Mr. Dung.
