That’s what I saw when I saw the rallies in Washington.
When the White House establishes security perimeters
One afternoon in mid-October 2016, as hundreds of tourists raced past the front door of the White House amid close surveillance by security forces, the Secret Service suddenly demanded that everyone in the airspace . the right to leave quickly. Everyone should stand on the sidewalk in front of where the President of the United States resides.
In just a few minutes, a tight seat belt was put on, sniffing dogs appeared, officers appeared outnumbered and carried MP5 submachine guns, not just pistols as before.
A security perimeter was installed around the White House before a protest group appeared.

Looking at the rooftop of the mighty building, several snipers were present. Next, the officers also pulled the rope to define the blocked area, the helicopter continually discussed above. Therefore, many people are still waiting to see what will happen, without even a bit of concern about the tense environment of the security forces.

For more than 30 minutes, perhaps out of the same curiosity as me, hundreds of visitors took time to look. A tourist who was nearby told me that there was nothing but that there should be nothing in danger, otherwise tourists were asked to stay away. Perhaps 45 minutes had passed since the security perimeter around the White House was established, that a protest group with only a few hundred people appeared. And this is why security is tightened.
Support group candidate Jill Stein (2016) condemned the “choice of money” while protesting in front of the White House.

This protest delegation is not actually opposing the government, but the goal is to oppose both Donald Trump and Mrs. Hillary Clinton. Because that moment was when the race for the White House between these two candidates was turning fierce. And the aforementioned group of protesters raised a banner to destroy the “choice of money” and called for the support of Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate for the 2016 US presidential election.
The tense atmosphere from before quickly turned throbbing and the protesters, after a few dozen minutes of shouting and calling, quickly left.
The “Big Concert” near the Trump Hotel
But not all the demonstrations I witnessed in Washington DC were “opened up” as stressful as the previous ones. At the end of 2019, as I was leaving the central metro station, I heard a voice speaking through a large sound system, mixed with music that sounded like a disco. The atmosphere was like the words of the entertainer at the bar.
Available in my spare time and also curious about what was going on, I walked towards the source of the sound. At the intersection of 12 NW Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, the Trump International Hotel of the Trump family located at this intersection, is a powerful police force for the foreseeable future.
Harley Davidson motorcycles and specialized police patrols stand guard in the protest area.

Many Harley Davidson motorcycles and Ford Explorer full-size SUVs were strewn across the road. All the police officers appear serious and look at a group of thousands of people organizing protests in support of gender freedom. The demonstration took place in a vacant lot, located in Pennsylvania Avenue, the highway that connects the White House with the Capitol (House of the Congress of the United States). While many police officers watched the demonstrations, other police officers gave traffic instructions for vehicles passing near the protest area.
After the excited speeches, loud music resurfaced in a large area. So the protest was like an outdoor concert and the participants looked very excited, nothing called stress. Right on the edge of the site during the demonstration, a row of portable toilets was erected to meet the needs of the protesters. Including a toilet for the disabled.
Before the end of the event that day, protesters marched toward the Capitol under the escort of a powerful police force traveling by motorcycle, car and bicycle. The protesters left, the logistical force appeared to “clean up the remnants” from the sound system to the garbage, portable toilets …
The mobile toilets are located near the protest area.

To protest in Washington DC, depending on the level, size and location, the time of the protest, the organizing group must ask the regulator for permission. However, small protests by a few people do not seem to have to ask permission from the authorities, although they still have to comply with some provisions of the law. Therefore, in front of the White House, Ms. Concepción Picciotto had more than 30 years building tents to protest against the intervention of the United States in the Middle East, protesting the existence of destructive weapons such as nuclear bombs. By becoming a “nasty” neighbor but also a “specialty” of the White House, Picciotto just finished “her protest career” at the age of 81 when she died of old age and weakness. After that, there were still people determined to stay in the White House to continue protesting like Ms. Picciotto.
