Earlier, around 4:35 p.m. on December 8, the team of 4-person and 3-person masons was working on the scaffolding on the second floor of the site (about 5.5 m above the ground), and from suddenly the scaffolding collapsed. causing the 3 workers to fall to the concrete floor below.
The aftermath of the accident caused 3 workers, including Mr. Pham Xuan Son (56 years old), Nguyen Dinh Thang (55 years old, living in Viet Hung commune), to die at the scene and Mr. Pham Van Do ( 53 years) was seriously injured. I was taken to the emergency room at Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital, but the injury was too bad, so I died later.
At the construction site is the home of Mr. Vu Van Truong’s family, when the incident occurred, the work was in the plastering and finishing stage. The construction worker team of Mr. Truong’s family has 4 people, all residents of Viet Hung Commune, Vu Thu District.
It is known that the scaffold for the construction site was tied down by Mr. Truong and a member of the construction team.
