Youth recommend the temple, where the ashes are kept, and public opinion about it.
* Venerable Thich Thanh Luc (Chief of the Tower Executive Board, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City):
Strict management
Vinh Nghiem Pagoda built a community relic stupa in 1982 and began receiving ashes from people in 1983. This stupa has 4 floors, which is the resting place of more than 20,000 dead.
The community relic tower is like a miniature city with 4 districts A, B, C, D corresponding to the 4 floors of the stupa. Each ash jar that is shipped has a code such as a house number to facilitate management. When relatives come to visit, just say their names, the management team will help you find the location of the ashes of your loved ones.
The management of the “demographics” of the people who died by putting them in the stupa, in addition to taking out the ashes, was very strictly implemented by the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda’s board of directors through the receipt of payment for the ashes.
In case of wanting to remove the ashes from the aquatic burial but lose the payment receipt, the tower operator will review the original book to see who is in the name and certified by all family members.
There has been a case where a family member wanted to bring his parents’ ashes for cremation but lost a receipt. This family has 6 children, 3 people in Vietnam and 3 people abroad. For foreigners, we have to call to confirm each person. As for those in the country, they bring their home registry book to prove it.
The ashes sent to the Vinh Nghiem pagoda were made with the solemn ceremony of entry to the tower. If it is taken, the ceremony will be held abroad. The time to send the ashes here is forever.
The cost of sending ashes to the temple increases over time, 5-6 years ago it was 10 million VND and now it is 15 million VND. When bringing the ashes of loved ones here, they must pay fees, receipts, they are all the same, the same applies, the same price. For difficult cases, you can request 50% discount or for free.
Faced with increasing numbers of people relying more and more on ashes to go to Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, the pagoda has built more peaceful houses to satisfy the beliefs of sending the ashes of relatives. go to the temple.

* Senior nun Thich Nu Tu Nhan (abbot of Phuoc Vien pagoda):
The temple was overloaded
Phuoc Vien Pagoda (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) does not accept the ash urn, it only accepts relatives to send ashes turned into pressed crystal aggregates and crystal worship.
The temple has been sending stucco and glass worship images for about 10 years. So far, they have sent around 1,000 relatives. Including some 200 stalactites and 800 worship images.
The image of worship of the skeleton and crystal is also permanently worshiped, it is kept in other lives. The cost of shipping stone remains is 5 million VND and the worship of crystal images costs 1 million VND. I love that this is eating rice, maid work for identity, not business.
The ashes of the deceased were brought to the temple for 100 days to worship. Due to the limited area of the worship hall, in the near future, Phuoc Vien Pagoda will not accept remains and crystal worship photos sent by people.
We are very calm
We have been sending ashes of mothers and mothers to the Vinh Nghiem Pagoda Community Stupa for many years. I visit regularly once a month. We are busy with work, sometimes we visit a new anniversary or a big ceremony, but the staff here take good care of us, we are very calm.
The number of ashes sent to this temple is quite large, but it is neat and orderly, when relatives need to find it, just say the name and look for it immediately.

Needs “planning, professionalization “
From psychology, sending ashes, stucco, crystal worship photos to the temple is good for relatives, so the number is increasing. Everyone wants their loved ones to be at peace forever, but storage space is limited and cannot be expanded forever.
Many temples and churches arrange space for this worship, but sooner or later, it will lead to an overload and you will not be able to receive more.
In the future, when most people choose cremation over burial, what will be the shipment of ashes? This is not a history of the religion that sends ashes to the temple, but a history of politics, the necessary instructions for the history of the “mail” for the dead.
In addition to planning the cemetery grounds on the premises for formal, the civilized also need to plan the space for storing ashes with the full standards for this service.
In the long run, the shipment of ashes is more professional, there must be complete documents, contracts, complete storage of information; There are sufficient regulations from fees to environmental sanitation, responsibility of the sender and receiver to save the ashes.
