3 traffickers of newborns were arrested by the local police.

Arrested subjects include Nguyen Thuong Thuong (SN 2002, resident of Vung La Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi); Hoang Van Thanh (SN 1992, resident of Quan Son Commune, Chi Lang District, Lang Son Province) and Vu Ngoc Anh (SN 1963, resident of Hai Anh, Hai Hau District, Nam Dinh Province).

At the police station, the subjects admitted that the newborn child was the daughter of TTT (SN 1992, resident of Dong Minh Commune, Tien Hai District, Thai Binh Province). Ms. T. gave birth to this child at Bach Mai Hospital on 3-8-2021.

When searching Hoang Van Thanh’s body, border forces discovered 9 packets of white powder and 1 packet of pink pills that were suspected of being narcotic.

Currently, the boy has been rescued and initially supported by the functional forces of the Border Guard Department and the Binh Lieu District Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

The Quang Ninh Province Border Guard Provincial Department Command orders the collection of all documents and evidence to make a decision to prosecute a criminal case of trafficking in minors under 16 years of age in accordance with article 151 of the Penal Code of 2015 Currently, the unit is still investigating and clarifying the case.
