Police in Quang Ninh District, Quang Binh Province, are investigating a serious traffic accident that occurred on Highway 1, the section that passes through Luong Ninh Commune, late at night 18-12, killing a person.
The victim is Mr. Tong Viet Ty, SN 1972; lives in Phu Hai neighborhood, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province.
According to initial information, around 11:30 p.m. on December 18, a car travels along Highway 1 in a south-north direction, when it reaches Km 668 + 7000 (the section that passes through the village of Luong Yen, commune of Luong Ninh), is not unexpectedly colliding with a tricycle controlled by Mr. Tong Viet Ty, causing the victim to collapse on the spot.
After causing the accident, the driver of the car left the scene, leaving the injured victim in the middle of the rainy night. Almost 1 hour after the incident, people discovered that Mr. Ty had died on the side of the road.

Upon receiving the news, the Quang Ninh District Police were present to organize an examination of the scene and investigate the cause of the case.
A source said that this morning (December 19), the driver who was driving the car that caused the accident went to the police station. The owner of this car is known to be Mr. Đ.DV (SN 1981), an expert from the Investment Department of the Quang Binh Province Finance Department.
