Russian President Vladimir Putin on vacation in Siberia himself conducted the terrain and explored many places in the forest.
Video released by the Kremlin from inside the car shows President Putin at the helm and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu sitting next to him. The all-terrain vehicle traversed snow-covered trails under birch groves.

He and Minister Shoigu can also be seen walking through knee-deep snow, inspecting the lumber workshops in the middle of a barren forest before pulling ropes across the suspension bridge.
President Putin is the image of a strong leader. In 2017, he also appeared in a video alongside Minister Shoigu. The two used spears to hunt fish, drive motor boats, and catch stingrays.
The head of the Kremlin appears regularly on national television while participating in different outdoor activities to show the image of a strong, dynamic and powerful leader.

However, these appearances of him are sometimes controversial. During a diving trip to the Black Sea in 2011, President Putin is said to have discovered two ancient vessels from the 14th century. However, independent media doubted that the two jars did not have algae or plankton attached. His spokesperson later admitted that the scene was staged.
