On the afternoon of December 23, the trial of 7 defendants in the Vietnam Link Company property grabbing case ended the interrogation. Before moving on to the litigation part, the representative of the prosecution (VKS) who has the prosecuting authority in court announced the proposed sentence for impeachment of the defendants.
After two days of questioning, the representative of VKS asked the court of first instance to sanction the defendant Le Xuan Giang (Chairman of the Board of Directors) for life imprisonment for fraud and appropriation of property.
Co-defendant with Giang, defendant Le Van Tu (the CEO) was offered 19-20 years in prison, Nguyen Thi Thuy (deputy director general) was offered between 17 and 19 years in prison for the same crime.
The defendants are Members of the market development team include: Trinh Xuan Sang was offered 15-16 years in prison, Le Thanh Son was offered 14-15 years in prison, Vu Thi Hong Dung and Nguyen Xuan Truong was sentenced to 12-13 years in prison for the same crimefraudulent appropriation of property.

According to the VKS representative, in the Le Xuan Giang case, he played the role of the mastermind, ordering the other defendants to carry out all the fraudulent acts and appropriate money from the victims.
The defendants Le Van Tu and Nguyen Thi Thuy are the helpers and organizers of the fraudulent acts under the direction of Le Xuan Giang. The remaining 4 defendants have a direct role in enticing the victim to join the multilevel model.
Regarding civil liability, the VKSND, based on the case file and court proceedings, proposed that the court declare Le Xuan Giang to pay compensation of more than 800 billion VND that was assigned to him.
In addition, the prosecution proposed that Nguyen Thi Thuy and the other 5 defendants should return the total amount of more than 132 billion that had been illegally occupied for fraud.

The VKS accusation determines that the defendant Le Xuan Giang is the person who gave up 100% of the capital to set up a BQP company.
From March 2014 to November 2015, Le Xuan Giang and the defendants took advantage of the Viet Link Company obtaining a license to trade multi-level goods with goods produced by the BQP Company, using deceptive tricks. and providing false information that leads investors to believe that Lien Viet is a subsidiary of BQP Company under the Ministry of Defense.
Then the defendant Giang asked a monk in Ho Chi Minh City to falsify the Prime Minister’s certificate of merit and launch a series of programs, offering great promotions such as paying 7 million VND, and receiving more than 400 million, mobilizing a lot . People involved in multi-level businesses will be rewarded with a car worth VND 1 billion or a house worth 1.8 billion VND.
As of November 2015, Giang and his accomplices had attracted more than 68,000 victims in 49 provinces and cities, raising a total of nearly 2.1 billion VND.
The prosecution alleges that after the actual cost is roughly half of the profits, the defendants must take criminal responsibility in the amount of more than 1.1 billion VND.
