On December 21, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Homeland Front held the fourth meeting of the Presidium to discuss and comment on the draft report on the work of the 2020 Front and the direction of operation and action plan. year 2021.
In his opening remarks, Party Central Secretary Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, suggested that “the elders, you and your comrades continue to bring enthusiasm, experience, wisdom and help. Mr. Nguyen Tuc, a member of the Presidium, said that the Front of the Fatherland has supervised and criticized a lot, but has not yet joined the Party in construction work and staff training.
Mr. Tuc mentioned that the number of 27 members of the Central Committee retired and the incumbent was sanctioned. In some cases, the Party expelled the Party and treated it criminally. It is worth mentioning that among these are the leaders of the three economic centers, also three large cities directly dependent on the Central Government: Hoang Trung Hai, Nguyen Duc Chung (Hanoi); Dinh La Thang, Tat Thanh Cang (HCMC); Nguyen Xuan Anh, Tran Van Minh (Da Nang).

Referring to Politburo Decision 217/2018 on the Regulation on Supervision and Social Criticism, Tuc said The Front of the Homeland and the socio-political organizations have the responsibility to participate in the construction of a clean and strong Party and State. But to be strong, you need to focus on building a contingent of staff.
“I still recommend it publicly. Any colleague who enters the Central Committee of this legislature must make the list known to Congress so that people can know and participate in their comments ”- said Mr. Tuc.
The public assessment is very good, but Mr. Pham The Duyet, former chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Homeland Front, said that this should comply with the Party’s principles during the introduction and evaluation process. In this process, through the opinion of the residential area, through the monitoring of the cadre management agency, and the organization of the monitoring system, it is also democracy.

“For example, I live in Tho Nhuom Street, Hanoi. What I do, ignorant or not, people know everything. So expand democracy for people to evaluate and discover. Or if we introduce someone to the agency, we know them all, but it is not necessary to publish it nationally to make it complicated ”- said Mr. Duyet.
Mr. Duyet asked the Party to create more conditions for the organizations of the Front of the Fatherland, such as the Veterans Association, the Union … to monitor their staff. Because it is these organizations that are close to the life and daily work of the staff.
