At 10 am, the Dak Nong police announced the results of an initial investigation into the case of a commune secretary in Lam Dong suspected of murdering his wife’s nephew and creating a false scene.

Suspect Do Van Minh, 49, Secretary of the Committee of the Communist Party of Lien Ha, Lam Ha District. The victim was Mr. Tran Nho Vuong, 25, from the same district, the grandson of his niece Minh.
According to the Dak Nong Police, every Friday or Saturday morning, Minh used to drive to visit the two camps in Dak Nong on Sunday afternoon to return home. Nho became a farmer in Minh, who disappeared on May 3.
Due to a debt of more than 10 billion dong, in early April, Minh bought a life insurance package. He thought of a way to find the dead to replace the insurance money. On April 20, Minh ran a car to dig a grave to find a cemetery, but then stopped.
On the night of May 3, Minh visited the fields and was fed by Wang. 5h on 4/5, Minh struck the forehead twice causing the death of the victim. Then put Wang in a car, creating a fake crash scene.
Earlier, on the morning of 4/5, on Highway 28, the section that passes through Dak Som Commune, Dak G’Long District, Dak Nong, the van was set on fire. Inside the car there is a burned body.
Recognizing Mr. Minh’s car, watch, and keys a day later, the family asked to have the body buried.

However, based on the evidence gathered at the scene, the police determined that the car fire had signs of murder and then prepared a false scene. The body in the car is not Mr. Minh.
On 10/5, Mr. Minh was arrested by the police while hiding in Binh Phuoc province.
