According to Fox News, US President-elect Joe Biden slipped while playing with one of the two German Shepherd Dogs on November 28. “To be careful, he will be examined by an orthopedic doctor this afternoon,” the announcement from his transfer group said.

The Major is one of two German Shepherd Dogs owned by Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Jill Biden and will be the first rescue dog to live in the White House. Biden and his wife received him from the Delaware Humane Association in 2018. Champ, another of their own, has been raised since 2008.

Joe Biden celebrated his 78th birthday last week and will become the oldest president in American history when he is sworn in in January.
